We're in our last day in Hawaii. Haven't done a lot.
We went to Pearl Harbor yesterday and toured the
Battleship Missouri (mighty MO) where the WW II
surrender papers were signed.
Form now on, all new places.

I
am often asked what I do all day at
sea.
The problem is finding free time.
We’ve
had a lot of good presentations
from
guest speakers and from shore
excursion
manager, destination
guide,
and
captain.
There
was worship service Sunday.
The
dancers and singers were present at
Good
Morning Amsterdam. (Held most
days
at sea).
We’ve
had a wine tasting.
Well,
plenty to do.

We had a great day touring the Midway Museum.
Just wish we had more time.

We
had a presentation from another guest
Lecturer,
a maritime historian and
biologist from England. His last name
is
Foster, a distant cousin?
Love
the accent.

We
returned to Seattle yesterday and disembarked
most
of our passengers. When we returned from a
long
walk (taxi back), we found out most of the
passengers
had embarked quickly. Later we learned
that
on a 1300 passenger ship, we had less than 400
passengers.
It’s like a ghost ship. If you’ve ever
stayed
aboard when a ship is in port,
it’s like that only
the ship is moving.
our
guest lecturer. He is a professor emeritus
anthropologist
from a university in California.
His
wife will also be giving presentations.
Our
“on location guide” will also be giving
presentations
on all the places we visit.
